Thank you for visiting our Successful Families page! Our goals are to be a place for parents to build community and for new parents to gain practical parenting knowledge. At Alpha Center, we know the challenges of parenting and we want to provide compassionate care for parents from all backgrounds. For first-time parents up to experienced parents with infants and toddlers, you can find a community of support with us in Fort Collins. Sign Up for Successful Families Classes

 

Successful Families meets at The Crossing (3601 S. Shields St) from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Monday of the month.

All classes have childcare included with registration and both moms and dads are welcome to attend! Come find community and learn about parenting with other people in your same stage of life.

    Bio: Nate & Carly will encourage you to take an intentional look at finances and the family. Come and hear from someone in your same boat! They will share tips they began early in their marriage and still use. This will be an engaging and helpful session no matter your current situation. Bring your questions and your experiences to share.

    Facilitators: Nate & Carly Spindler are raising their family in Milliken, CO, and have been married for 7 years. They have 3 children. Having been coached through financial principles with formal training, they are excited to share helpful information for families on this vital topic.

    "DIY Family Values" is a practical class that helps you identify What matters most to your family and turn those values into meaningful traditions. Discover, define, and live out your family’s unique culture in this free class from Alpha Center's Successful Families Program.

    Facilitators: Matt and Teri Farrand, high school sweethearts turned lifelong partners, have been married for 28 years and serve together on staff at Vineyard Church of the Rockies in Fort Collins, CO. They’re the proud adoptive parents of Tatum (17) and Mac (13), who bring joy and adventure to their family every day.

    About the Facilitators:

    John is the father of two teens, an entrepreneur, and passionate about helping men reach their potential.

    Marie is a mother of two teens, a pastor and passionate about spreading unconditional love.

Come as You Are

No matter what your situation is or marital status, we are here to support you. Successful Families is a safe environment for moms and dads to find the support they need. Whether you just need other parents in the same stage of life to talk to or you need help finding resources to carry out a healthy pregnancy, you can find the support you need with us.

No Faith Required

Although our parent organization, Alpha Center, is a Christian medical clinic, there are no faith requirements to join Successful Families or utilize any of Alpha Center’s other services. Our arms are open to everyone, no matter your religious beliefs, gender, race, or sexual orientation. 

Tools to Advocate for Yourself and Family

Our goal is to not only help you with practical parenting information now- we also aim to give you tools you need in the future such as relationship boundaries, financial literacy, nutrition, and more. With Successful Families you can learn the skills you need to become your best advocate for yourself and your family. We can help you prepare for your journey of having a family and growing it in the future.

  • Parenting Panels - learn from parents who have already navigated infancy and toddlerhood

Build Your Community

At Successful Families, you can find moms and dads you can relate to. You can build the support system you need to help you become the best mom/dad you can be. Participants empower each other through practical tips and encouragement.

The journey of becoming a mom/dad can be a scary one, but it doesn't have to be. With Successful Families and Alpha Center, you can find the support you need to set you up for success.

Attending our parenting classes is free and childcare is provided at no cost so that you don’t have to worry about an additional financial burden..
